When you have a big MySQL database, you may need to optimize and eventually repair any tables that may need it. This class allows you to schedule the execution of these tasks.
After the class performs the repair and optimization tasks, it saves the date and time in a file.
Next time the class is called to perform those tasks again, it will compare the last execution time with the current time. The tasks are only performed if it has passed a period of time equal or superior to the schedule delay. The default value for this delay is 24 hours.
You can call this class any time but it will not slow down your server because it really executes the repair and optimization tasks only when it has passed the delay period since last optimization.
