Libraries and institutions that build and keep catalogs of books and other types of titles sometimes have the need to exchange data about those titles in a standardized format. This is the purpose of the ISO 2709 standard.
This class provides a PHP solution for creating and manipulating records of titles stored in files of the ISO 2709 format making it possible to develop PHP applications that need or can benefit of accessing these records files directly.

This class is meant to handle record files in the ISO 2709 format, a common format for data exchange between libraries.
It provides functions for validating, reading and creating records in the ISO 2709 format.
The class is able to retrieve given fields in the 'MARC' flavour record and generating such records from raw data.
The comments in the code are in French.
