 Gammu is a powerful tool for controlling mobile devices. It perform several types of useful non-trivial tasks with mobile phones like for instance sending SMS messages.

This class provides a means to benefit from the capabilities of Gammu from PHP applications.

It can be used for instance to send SMS messages using a mobile phone connected to a Web server machine, thus without depending on SMS operator services, which when are free, they impose restrictions that prevent robot scripts to use them.

Detailed description

This class can be used to control cellular phones and other types of mobile devices using the tool Gammu.

It can retrieve SMS messages stored in the device including message details such as the inbox or outbox folder, or the read, sent, unsent status.

It can also delete all SMS messages stored in the device, and send a new SMS message.
