Gauges are often used in panels of cars and other machines to give the user an idea of the level of something that is being measured, like for instance the speed of a car or the available fuel level.
This class uses the same metaphor to represent the level of something that is being measured by a PHP script by the means of a dynamically generated graphic image of a gauge and a pointer meter of the current level.

This class can be used to generate images of a dial gauge.
It generates an image of a dial gauge with a needle pointer rotated to a given value between the minimum and maximum angle.
Optionally, it can also display the current value that the needle is pointing.
The resulting image is served as the current script output in the transparent GIF or PNG formats.
