This is a great article.
On point 3, I think people should note that php is turing complete. Moreover, there are classes here on this site that prove php does virtually everything one needs even A.I development.
On point 6, thats the most ridiculous thing i ever heard, that php docs are bad. They are the best i ever saw and anyone who claims otherwise is just plain silly. Even following the link you provided, docs was one of his favorite things and he recommended it.
Well, until people understand what php is truly meant for, there will always be haters.
For me, python for desktop, php for web.
Thanks again. |

Right, a new article is planned for next month on the way certain PHP classes can overcome certain PHP limitations or apparently missing features. Watch out.
As for the documentation, I am not sure about what link you mean because I did not provide a link in that topic, as I did not have time to find again the pages where I saw the criticism to the documentation. But I found one now. Judge for yourself:

Sorry I was not clearer.
I was referring to the "I like Php" article www.beust.com/weblog/2011/08/09/i-like-php/
Thanks for the heads up, I always Look forward to your posts especially the podcast. Can't wait for it. |
