I have to agree with the above. I don't think was necessary. Even the most basic programmer should either have this knowledge or be able to figure it out.
I would have liked more of the tools on visual input like the mapping tool that was described. |

Hello all,
well, in my opinion such an article is no harm to the professionals here and a good help for beginners in order to learn about these things. My respect for the author who made the effort to put this into an article. In my opinion a platform with which has articles ranging from simple to complex is a good one.
So keep the work going :)

| What's your problem? I hate it when people post prissy comments like "even the most basic of programmers ......" - all you are doing is trying to seem better than the person who was only helping others. I have been programming since the 1970's when I was a PDP 11 Assembler programmer, and I have learned many languages since then, but I do not profess to know everything about every language. I foind the post interesting as I am new to PHP. If you have nothing useful to say don't bother. |

I thought the article was useful!
Does anyone know if the sample script works properly? The reason being, is when I hit the submit button to upload the sample CSV file, I get:
Errors: Access denied for user 'meridien_csv'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
I am able to connect to the database with ease, so this can not be correct, no?
Any feedback would be great! Thanks!
