well, it's still alive.
Frankly, I do not have time. I think about it a lot. I have started re-writing it entirely because I am not satisfied at all with the code and the structure. But it's a long work, and I have some difficulties at my job as the head developper : I need more resources, and I have difficulties to find good coders! But it should be ok soon, and I'll have more time to spend on this package.
So, as for your error, I really don't know right now. give me some time, and I'll have a look at it. As I told you, I am not satisfied with the way I structured it...nevertheless, it's working fine for me. Are you trying the codeI wroter or have you modified some stuff (IE, tried to make it work on another directory hierarchy and so on?)?

Ok all i've done is extract it to /var/www/
then i get the following error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/www/map.php on line 65
and i remove this line as per the other post here.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
this doesn't exist /cls//map/css/
this doesn't exist/cls/map/includes/
this doesn't exist /cls/map/js/
also i fix the css line, as there is a css part in the tar(not sure where it meant to be but there is no cls directory only a class directory, and no map directory either only maps).
once I do those things I get the little man running about, but as I said before when I get combat it get the error I said. I also found a site in French which seemed to have more up to date files, it even has a docs directory. It also has the includes directory.
phpcs.com/codes/PHP5-RPG-CREATOR-VE ... but i couldn't get them as i couldn't sign up as it was all in French and my French is dusty to say the least, and basic to say the most! :P.
either way I hope that helps you help me, and by the way I am very impressed with the speed at which it runs, it also seems to be very well thought out, at least with the movement of the character. If we can get the thing working I'm very keen to help, but I also have limited time, because of work.

Fixed it btw and made quite a few changes! :P you can save you characters and load them up again, also got a few more stats, like gold and the ability to level and added a few monsters. Do you want me to send you the new version?

Yes it is still alive, but just need to re-fix the code as I have been busy over the Christmas, NYE and CNY holidays. Will be in Germany for 3 weeks alone(on friday), so should have the spare time to fix it and post it! :D ok
