Hello
First i would like to thank you for this wonderful class.
I'm getting a problem while trying to send zip with Internet Explorer.
I made a change on the example of yours to search for some files on a directory using "for" and adding to the zip, sending it later.
It works perfectly on mozzila and chrome, but on IE it downloads a zip archive with a unknown file type archive inside. If i change this unknown archive type to .zip after extract him it works fine, but i cant open this archive on with windows common zip program, just using winrar.
Thats strange, because on my localhost it works normally. I tried many ways to solve this problem and just cant do it.
Iam now asking ur help to solve this problem and would be thankful if u could do it.
Thanks in advance.

Winzip won't open the file even after renaming it to .zip?
Can I get you to create a small test file and send it to me at avg (at) grandt.com?
Which version of IE are you using?
Cheers

hello
No. Winzip doesnt open the archive. To open it you need to unzip with winrar and rename the archive inside and open it again.
What u mean with this test file? what the purpouse?
This thing happens in all IE versions.
Thats weird because...on local machine i can do it with no problem. I made some research about this and maybe thats a Apache problem, but anyways i dont know how to solve it.
Thanks for the reply
Cheers

The purpose of the test file is to find out why WinZip won't open it. The reason is most likely that the file is corrupt in some way.
So this is only happening to IE on one server, and not on localhost?
Can I get you to run a php file with this code on both?
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
It'll tell us what is running on the server which is causing the problem, and the one that works (local).
Cheers
