Are you running this from command line with the pcntl packages installed? Also please note that this will only run correctly on a *nix based machine.

I Could have swore that I did, but I'll go back and add that in, it is however stated in the readme file

This particular class uses the PCNTL extension and should not be used in a web server environment. For more details view the PHP Manual page:
