  Detailed description  
This class can be used to count the accesses to the pages of a site storing the statistics in MySQL database tables.

The class provides a function to record the hits on each page in the counter table.

It also can retrieve several types of statistics like the total number of accesses to all site pages or just in a given page, number of accesses in the current day or in the last days and the number of unique visitors with different IP addresses.

The statistics of the site hits can be displayed as a picture with a given background image. Several sample background images are made available.
