This class can be used as a robot to access IRC channels.
It connects to a given IRC server and authenticates on behalf of a given user.
The class can join to a given IRC channel after it receives the message of the day.
While it stays joined to the same channel until the IRC server connection is alive, it keeps replying with PONG messages to PING requests.
