  Detailed description  
This package implements a MySQL database abstraction layer.

It can establish connections to a given MySQL database server host and execute SQL queries and return the results in arrays in a single call.

Separate classes can be used to process query results for instance to output the results as HTML or XML. These classes can be extended to customize the way the query results are processed or outputted.
