Simple Thumbnails

This class can create thumbnails images from image files.
It can take a given image file name in the JPEG, PNG or GIF format and creates a new thumbnail image that is a resized version of the original.
The thumbnail image size is configurable. The class may adjust the thumbnail image alignment to preserve the original image aspect ratio when it is different from the thumbnail image aspect ratio.
The resulting thumbnail image can be saved to a file or returned as a string. The thumbnail image format may be the same or different from the original image format.
