This class can add uploaded files to a ZIP archive.

It can generate HTML for a form to upload a file.

The class can handle the request when a file is uploaded and add it to a ZIP archive in a certain directory.

It can also generate a random file name so the uploaded file in the ZIP archive is unique, in order to avoid overwriting other files in the archive.

The class can also read the list of ZIP archives available in the upload directory, delete a ZIP archive, show a list of all files in each ZIP archive and allow to delete individual files in the archive.

This class can be used to pack multiple files to create a single compressed archive in the .ZIP format.

This class is based on a library known as zip.lib.php written by Eric Mueller, Denis125 and Peter Listiak. It was extended to make it more flexible adding features like adding files listed in an array.

The data of the resulting .ZIP archive can be stored in a file of a given file name.

The supplied example demonstrates how to use the class to store the ZIP archive in a file, serve it for download and delete the file after it is served.

This package can be used to manage archives in the tar, gzip, bzip2 and zip formats.

There is a factory class that can perform several types of actions on packed archive files: create a new archive, retrieve information about the contents of an archive, and extract the files and directories contained in an archive.

The factory class creates objects and calls the function of different classes depending on the file name extension of the archive being manipulated.

This package does not require any external programs to run, but it needs PHP with support to zlib and bzip2 extensions.
