RSPA stands for Really Simple PHP and AJAX. It is a framework with components for processing browser events on the server using AJAX to provide interaction between the browser and the server without page reloading.

It can be used for calling PHP class functions from the browser side. It provides means to manipulate JavaScript objects on the browser page.

It can be used to manipulate common HTML page elements. It also provides custom page elements such as labels and auto-complete inputs.

It now works with PHP 4 and PHP 5

Generate form text inputs with auto-fill support

This class can generate form text input values that can automatically complete the values entered by the user with a given list pre-defined values.

The class generates the necessary Javascript code to add auto-complete support to a form text input with a given identifier.

You can define the maximum number of options that will be displayed to let the user pick one that completes the text that he entered.

You can also define whether the form should be submited when user select one of the options.

Auto-complete text typed in a form input

This package can be used to auto-complete text typed in a form input without page reloading.

It generates the HTML for a form with a text input and Javascript to perform an AJAX request to retrieve possible words that complete the text that the user has typed so far.

The auto-completion words are retrieved from a configurable text file. The words may also be read from an array session variable to make it faster.

The completion words are displayed in menu below the text input.

The form with text field width, the colors of the words in the menu and the word file delimiter are also configurable.
