Detect spam in text using Bayesian techniques

This class can be used to detect spam in text messages using Bayesian techniques.

It analyzes the text words in terms of n-grams in a way that is idiom independent.

It can be trained to progressively distinguish what is spam and what is not spam by detecting patterns in training samples. Training data is stored in a MySQL database.

Create select inputs and move items between them

This class is meant to assist in the creation of forms with pairs of multiple select inputs with buttons to move options between each of the select inputs.

This is useful to manage lists of values that are made of a limited set of known options.

The class does not generate the form inputs. It just generates the necessary Javascript code to associate to onclick events of form buttons that remove options from one select input and add them to the other.

Generic error reporting and handling class

xError is a generic error reporting and handling class. It may be used for debugging and/or monitoring purposes.

The basic concept is to define as many errors as needed for the application. These errors may be declared as 'fatal' or 'non-fatal' errors.

Whenever an error is encountered during the execution of the program, xError checks whether it is classified as 'fatal' or 'non-fatal'.

Fatal errors cause the immediate abortion of the program's execution. Instead of the output normally generated, an error message is displayed, describing the error that just occurred, accompanied by suggestions on how to avoid the error (if that is possible). Additionally, the error could be logged in a text file.

Non-fatal errors do not cause the running program to be aborted. The error message is merely added to the so-called error stack. The developer is free to decide where and how he wants to react to these errors. For the sake of completeness, it , has been implemented a means of displaying the non-fatal errors the same way fatal errors are displayed.

This class generates and displays images in the JPEG format that represent bubble charts.

It can be useful to show the positioning of subjects (such as companies, products, people, organizations, teams and so on) face to 2 qualities (classified according to a semantic scale) at time.

The width of the bubble allows to represent a third quality of the subject: this quality is relative to the other subjects.

An interesting use of this class is to create strategic marketing graphs in order to analyze the positioning of a company face to its competitors, taking two critical success factors at time.
