Create CSV files from MySQL table data

This class can be used to create CSV (Comma Separated Values) files from MySQL database table data.

It executes an SQL query to retrieve all the data in a given MySQL table and generates a CSV file with the table data.

The CSV file name is the table name followed by the .csv extension. The directory where the file is created is configurable.

The class can also iterate over all tables of a MySQL database and generate CSV files from their contents within a single class call.

Import CSV data into a MySQL database table

This class can be used to import data from CSV (Comma Separated Value) files into a given MySQL database table.

It parses a given CSV file to extract the field names. Then it imports the data into the MySQL database using a LOAD DATA INFILE query to import the data in a much faster way than using SQL INSERT queries.

If necessary, the class can also create the database table using the CSV file headers to retrieve the table field names.

UPDATE: From now you can set the encoding table which is used to parse the file.

Parse CSV files tokening data lines

This class can be used to parse CSV files (Comma-Separated-Value used by Excel and other spreadsheet programs.

It works by splitting the data of CSV lines into tokens in a similar way to the PHP strtok function, but all delimiters are significant, i.e. consecutive delimiters are not globbed into one, and empty string tokens are permitted.
