This class can be used to show a month calendar denoting days of events recorded in a MySQL database

It displays a month calendar in an HTML table. The calendar also shows links to browse to other calendar months or years.

The table cells that correspond to days associated to events recorded in a MySQL table are rendered with a different style and with a link to a page that shows more detail about the day events.

The CSS styles that are used to render the different parts of the calendar are configurable.

Suggest words to complete text inputs using AJAX

This class can be used to complete words entered in text inputs using AJAX to retrieve completion words from the a MySQL database table without page reloading.

It generates HTML for a text form input with the necessary Javascript to perform AJAX requests to retrieve suggested words to complete the text that the user types in the text input.

The AJAX request is handled by a script that queries a MySQL database that returns a list of suggested completion words.

The suggested words are displayed in menu that appears below the text input. The user may select a suggested word with a cursor key.

This class implements an efficient method to manipulate hierarchical data stored in SQL databases tables by using preordered tree records.

It is a more efficient method to add, remove and retrieve data that form trees of records, than using the traditional recursive way to manage trees using only a field parent that is really mich more resource consuming as it may require the execution of many database queries. This class uses

This class lets you retrieve a complete tree structure from your database table with a single query. Only tree changes require more than one query.

This class can also use the tree record retrieval functions to generate HTML select input fields that present an hierarchy of options.

Currently, it requires the use mysqldb or sqlitedb class also available in this site, bit it could be easily adapted to use other database access classes.

Generate code to process form and insert MySQL row

phpFormGenerator is a class that can generate scripts can output and process Web forms for entering data to insert as a new row of a given MySQL table.

The class takes the resource handle of the result of a query to retrieve the names of the fields of a MySQL database table. Then it uses the result set field names to generate a script that presents a form to enter values that will be inserted in a new table row.

Some details of the presentation of the generated form can be defined when the script is generated. Other details are defined in a separate CSS stylesheet.
