Generate XHTML calendar for a given month or year

Active Calendar is a class that generates calendars for a given month or year as a HTML tables (XHTML-Valid).

This class is based on the PHP native date functions (default) and supports optionally the ADOdb Date Library. Supported dates (on systems using a 32-bit signed integer Unix time_t):

- Using PHP native date functions: 1902 - 2037 (UNIX) and 1971 - 2037 (Windows)
- Using ADOdb Date Library: 100 - 3000 and later on both UNIX and Windows

The generated calendars can:

- Be generated in plain format (without any links)
- Optionally have navigation controls
- Optionally have a date picker control
- Optionally have linkable days (url or javascript)
- Optionally have event days (layout) with event links
- Optionally have 'event content' with links and own layout
- Support different GMT zones for the current date calculation
- Support month and day names depending on your language
- The presentation may be configured using CSS
- Do not require Javascript to be displayed or navigated (server side)
- Can be generated with just 2 or 3 lines of code

Generate a calendar date selector popup with DHTML

This class can be used to generate a popup control to select a date of the calendar. It is now possible to select as link only a day of week you prefer

It uses Javascript and HTML open a small layer when a button near a date text input is clicked. The popup layer displays a calendar with links to choose a given day of the current month or navigate between different months and years.

When the user picks a calendar day, the date text input is updated with the selected date that can be represented in two formats: dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy.

This class can be used to display calendars to pick dates for form inputs.

It can generate HTML and Javascript to display an icon that when clicked will display a calendar to let the user choose a date.

The chosen date is used to fill a given text input in a given date format.

The text for the week days and month names is configurable.

Generate form input to pick a calendar date

This PHP class can be used to generate a nice, template driven date picker in a pop-up window.

The class will automatically generate the required HTML and JavaScript code that will make a pop-up window appear to let the user choose a date from a calendar. The selected date will be passed to an user-specified control from the caller page.

Every aspect is customizable: the aspect of the date picker is template driven meaning you can completely alter how the date picker looks by changing the template and the related CSS file; the format in which the date to be returned is configurable; the date picker can be instructed to show a specific year/month/date by default; the first day of the week can be also set;

The date picker also supports localisation: in this version, beside the default english language file you can also choose between german and dutch.

The code is heavily documented so you can easily understand every aspect of it.

Generation of date chooser form fields

DatePicker is a class to generate HTML form fields for choosing dates.

It uses javascript to check and generate valid a day for the selected month, considering for leap year.

It also remembers its values after invalid form submission. This means that when the user submits a form, the class keeps track of the submitted values.

The class also provide the possility to let you create a custom HTML SELECT tag.

Generate an HTML calendar to pick dates

This class is meant to generate HTML month calendars that can be browsed by the user to let him pick a data.

This is an improved version of the BD calendario class originally published in this site by Samuel Aiala Ferreira. The original script did not work when going from December to January and back again. That and other bugs have been fixed.

The class is made for PHP 4, but you can easily make it compatible for PHP 5 with the instructions provided.
