This class generates HTML for an unlimited series of dependent select inputs.

The class can generate one select input and the dependent select inputs can be generated also by other objects of this class or not.

The objective was to produce a relatively intuitive interface to creating unlimited (N-Tier) cascading selects, with smart client side code (Javascript) to manage the cascading of options, thus avoiding the need to reload the page to update the list of objects dependent select inputs.

Generate two dependent HTML form select inputs

This class is meant to generate two HTML form select type inputs making the currently selected value on the first input determine the option values that are made available on the second.

It uses JavaScript to update the second input options when the first input changes.

The class comes with an example that defines the options for both input from data defined by arrays, and also an example that retrieves the options values from MySQL database query results.

Display month calendars denoting holidays

This is a class that computes and displays month calendars in HTML table denoting days known to be holidays.

Several presentation details may be configured including the locale dependent texts like the names of the months and holidays.

The class comes with locale text definitions for German in a separate script but other scripts may be used to present the calendar in other idioms.
