Generate dynamically expansible hierarchical menus

This class can create multi-level hierarchical menus based on a list of menu items and submenu items using DHTML.

The items organized in the generated menu can be expanded and collapsed dynamically using Javascript, that is when the user clicks on a menu item, all corresponding submenu items are shown, or hidden if already visible.

A good example of what it looks like is the list of documents and directories in the left frame of the Microsoft Windows Explorer.

The class provides means to create a root menu item and then add sub-nodes to it. To create more levels, it can add sub-nodes inside other sub-nodes. The menu may be arbitrarily deep.

The HTML code generated is only based on <UL> tags and is compatible with all browsers.

The generated menu is fully customizable using CSS. You may write your own CSS style definitions to configure the look and feel of parents and children menu items'.

The class also lets you define an image to use as the expand and collapse box. This is optional but can be handy to make the menu easier to understand.

CAPTCHA validation using colored boxes and AJAX

This class can be used to implement CAPTCHA validation using colored boxes that the user must click which are validated using AJAX requests.

It renders a grid of boxes on which only one box is colored differently to indicate the user must click it.

The class sends an AJAX request to the server passing the coordinates of the user clicks until a given number of clicks correctly point to the colored boxes.

Generate a calendar date selector popup with DHTML

This class can be used to generate a popup control to select a date of the calendar. It is now possible to select as link only a day of week you prefer

It uses Javascript and HTML open a small layer when a button near a date text input is clicked. The popup layer displays a calendar with links to choose a given day of the current month or navigate between different months and years.

When the user picks a calendar day, the date text input is updated with the selected date that can be represented in two formats: dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy.

Display a bar that reflects the progress of a task

This class is meant to display the progress of a server side task by the means of bar that is displayed and updated in an HTML page.

This class is a fork based on ProgressBar class written originally by Mika Turin.

This version of the class features:

- Rewritten the JavaScript and DHTML code to generate valid XHTML 1.0 strict code
- Added the setDirection() function to move the progress bar in all directions
- Added the hideBar() and unhideBar() functions to hide or unhide the progress bar
- Added the moveMin() and moveNext() functions to restart the bar or move it to the next step
- Added the setFrame() function to display a nice window like Frame around the progress bar
- Added the addLabel(), setLabelPosition, setLabelFont and setLabelValue() functions to display different Labels like step,percent,crossbar or text.
- Added the setBarColor(), setBarBackground() and setLabelColor(), setLabelBackground() functions to change the colors at any time.
- Added the addButton() function to display a label with button

Generate help tooltips for Web pages using DHTML

This class generates DHTML help tooltips that may appear over different types of Web page elements when the user drags the mouse over them. Screenreaders can switch the tooltips off (using a hidden link) and have meaningful title attributes for the corresponding web page elements.

The class provides several means for associating tooltip messages to different page elements.

The tooltip messages are defined in HTML, thus providing flexibility to the formatting of the messages that are displayed, which may include images and other formatting elements.

The class generates all the necessary Javascript code to associate to all tooltips added to a page.
This Javascript code uses the an adapted version of infobox.js Javascript library written originally by Klaus Knopper.

Generate dynamic DHTML 2 level pull down menus

This class implements a dynamic pull down menus using DHTML level 2.

It provides functions to dynamically build menus and sub-menus of HTML links included in DIV sections. These sections are shown or hidden according to user input events. These events are handled by Javascript code generated by the class with assistance of a small Javascript function library file also supplied with this class.

The class uses CSS to facilitate the customization of the presentation styles.

The DHTML generated by this class is known to be supported by Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Opera.
