Retrieve information about files and directories

This class can be used to retrieve information about files and directories.

It can:

- Retrieve an array with the list files in a given directory with several details like the file names, file sizes, last access date, last modified date, etc.
- Optionally traverse the given directory recursively to list files contained in sub-directories
- Filter the listing by file name extension, MIME type, last modified and last accessed dates.
- Filter a listing with additional criteria to create a more restricted listing
- Sort the retrieved listing
- Determine the most recently changed file
- Calculate the size of the files in a given directory listing
- Retrieve the size, last modified and last access data, permissions, owner and MIME type of a file in in a human readable format

Browse server side files and folders

This package can be used to provide a Web interface to browser server side files and folders.

It lets the user browse listings of files and folders below the current script directory.

Its features are:

- List folders in the first column
- List files in the next three columns: images, scripts and text files
- The images files can be presented either as their file names or as thumbnails. Click on the image file name or thumbnail shows the full size image
- Edit the contents of files and save them with the same or different file name and folder path
- Delete a files and and empty folders
- While editing a file, find a text string
- Navigate back up the tree using unique navigation links
- Create a new file and then enter text into it
- Create a new folder
- Upload a file into the current folder
- Download a file from the server

This application uses the Easy PHP Upload class by Olaf Lederer for managing uploaded files.

This application uses the downloadfile class by Slava Ivanov for managing downloaded files.

Retrieve the list of files of a directory

This class can be used to retrieve the list of files contained in a given directory and its sub-directories.

It traverses a directory recursively and writes the names of the files that it finds to a given output file name.

This class can be used to browse and manipulate files.

It can generate an HTML listing of files and directories in a given directory with links to execute several operations.

Currently it can view file contents, list ZIP archive contents, download files, delete files, create new files, create directories, browse in sub-directories or parent directories, etc..

Validate the access using Windows Active Directory

This class is meant to validate the access of an authenticated user to page a page associated with a given Windows Active directory group.

The class uses Windows ADSI (Active Directory Services Interface) via COM objects to verify whether an authenticated user belongs a given group

If the user does not belong to the group the class exits displaying an access error message.
