Get WhoIs Information for 270 different tld's

This class returns the whois information an checks the availability of at least 270 different top level domains.

Also it validates the domains name (Thought have been given to the new IDN special chars). CNO WHOIS informations where returned completely.

First translate the domain and the check it normally with the domain class.

Query whois server to get domain information

This class is meant to query a whois server to retrieve information about a domain, specifically whether the domain is available for registration.

This class features:

- Domain name string validation

- Knows which whois server to query for domains of different top level domains (TLD).

- More TLD can be supported by adding the respective whois server entries in a separate configuration script.

- Generate an a form select input for the defined tld's.

- Simple domain avaialability check or full information query

- multiple domain query (for all tld's conf. with this class)

The Whois class uses one simple method for looking up almost all domain names accross the globe.

The Whois class uses one simple method for looking up almost all domain names accross the globe. Just provide the method with the url you want to lookup (excluding the "www." and the "http://") and the results are returned in a string. Newer domains such as .tv,.info,.biz are not supported as these requires an account with the domain name registrar.

Extracting domain from an URL

This is a very simple class that can be used to extract the domain of an URL.

It parses the URL and returns the host domain. If the host starts with www. , that prefix is removed.
