This class can be used to dynamically serve data from files for download.

It can handle HTTP requests that ask to resume the download of files that were partially downloaded previously. So, it supports any download manager program that the users may employ.

It can serve data from files available on the serve or from dynamically generated data strings.

It can also handle user download abort requests so the download process stops immediately.

The class also supports custom user defined callback functions to handle all steps of the file download process, so it can be customized for special purposes.

You can also tracking user's download bandwidth for this download ( remeber to disable autoexit to use this option )

Limit the speed of files served for download

This class can be used to limit (throttle) the speed of files served for download.

It intercepts the PHP script output by setting a buffering handler that is called every time a given number of bytes are served to the browser.

The class measures the time since the last time the PHP output buffer was flushed and hold on PHP for a while if the average download speed is above a given limit.

There are three different bandwidth shaping mechanisms to ensure adequate Quality of Service:

1) burst transfer rate will be switched off after sending X bytes to the user (this can be helpful to send small images quickly, and limit the download speed of huge files)

2) burst transfer rate will be switched off after given period of time in seconds, then it will revert to the standard throttle speed

3) burst transfer rate will not be activated at all, the download speed limit will be constant during the whole downloading process (in this case $config->burstLimit must be equal to the $config->rateLimit)

This class allows to download files with the appropriate headers. Client web browsers recognize the headers, file and mime type and save to disk or offer to open the file using a local application. Files bigger than a given limit are automatically compressed defore downloading to the client.

This class can be used to search for images of a given person using Google and then download the images to local files.

It is just necessary to specify the name of a person, the limit number of images to be downloaded and the minimum width of the images in pixels.

Then this class will automatically search the images of the specified person on Google and will download all those images.

The images will be stored within a folder with the name of the person in the current script directory.

This class can be used to retrieve YouTube video details using the YouTube API.

It accesses the YouTube GData API Web server and issues a request retrieve information about videos that match a given keyword.

The class retrieves all the details of the matching videos like: titles, video URL for download in Flash or 3GPP (for mobile) formats and video thumbnail image URL.
