Decode MIME e-mail messages

This class can be used to parse and decode MIME e-mail messages.

It supports decoding single RFC 2822 MIME messages or archives that aggregate multiple messages in the mbox format.

The decoded message data is returned as an array that describes one or more messages found in a message file or data string.

The bodies of multipart messages can be decoded into distinct sub-messages.

The message body data can decoded and saved to separate files, so the class can handle messages larger than the available memory.

The parser can tolerate some syntax errors in malformed messages that are not compliant with RFC 2822.

An auxiliar class is provided to parse and extract e-mail address lists from message headers.

Retrieve e-mail messages into a MySQL database

This class can retrieve messages from a mailbox and insert them into a MySQL database.

The class retrieves and parses messages from a mailbox using the PHP IMAP extension.

The parsed messages can be stored in a MySQL database table. Message attachments are stored in server files.

The class can also perform some basic spam checking on the retrieved messages by verifying the sender address against a blacklist, and verify the existence of banned words in the message subject or body. The sender blacklist and banned words are also stored in the database tables.

The message processing activity is logged in a separate database table.

The class can also retrieve the messages and logged actions from the database.

Parsing text with BBCode style tags

This class can be used to parse text BBCode style tags like [PIC="logo.gif"], [IMG PIC="photo.jpg" BORDER=0], [B]text[/B] etc.

It invokes given calllback functions when open and close tags are found passing the attributes of the tags. The callback functions can return text that is used to replace the tags that are found.

Optionally, the class can turn URLs and e-mail addresses into HTML links. The e-mail addresses can be encoded using Javascript to prevent harvesting by robots.
