CAPTCHA validation asking questions about pictures

This class can be used to implement a CAPTCHA validation method that asks questions about pictures to the user.

It presents several images and asks the user to answer a question related to the pictures. Only one picture is the right answers. The user has to pick the right picture to pass the validation.

The class presents the question and pictures in a form with radio buttons associated to each picture to let the user pick the right picture that answers the question.

The information about the pictures that the user picks is stored in a MySQL database.

Present a picture gallery from image files

This class can be used to present a picture gallery from images stored as server side files.

It retrieves the list of GIF, JPEG and PNG images files in a given directory and displays thumbnails of the images in a table with links to pages where each image is displayed individually.

The table has a configurable number of columns and rows. When there are more images to display than those that fit in table, navigation links are displayed to browser between multiple gallery pages.

The colors of the page background of different gallery page sections are configurable.

Display images for CAPTCHA validation

This class can be used to display images for CAPTCHA validation.

It can display an image with a random text that the user needs to read and enter in a form to authorize the access to resources to real human users. The text is rendered over a given obfuscation image. The length, font and size of the text is configurable.

The validation text is stored in a session variable for posterior validation.

The validation image format can be either GIF, JPEG or PNG.

This class is meant to manipulate image files in the JPEG format uploaded via Web forms.

It can retrieve the image files submitted by posted forms, rescale the image to fit given constrainst, rotate the images and draw a frame around the picture and save the processed image in JPEG format with a configurable compression level.

Search images on Google and download its files

This class can be used to search for images of a given person using Google and then download the images to local files.

It is just necessary to specify the name of a person, the limit number of images to be downloaded and the minimum width of the images in pixels.

Then this class will automatically search the images of the specified person on Google and will download all those images.

The images will be stored within a folder with the name of the person in the current script directory.
