Filter out unwanted PHP / Javascript / HTML tags.

This class can filter input of stray or malicious PHP, Javascript or HTML tags and to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. It should be used to filter input supplied by the user, such as an HTML code entered in form fields.

I have tried to make this class as easy as possible to use. You have control over the filter process unlike other alternatives, and can input a string or an entire array to be cleaned (such as $_POST).

** SQL Injection feature has been added.

Browse and edit MySQL results like MS Access

This class displays results of sql statements in a browseable and editable format akin to a excel or Access. Easy, editable displays of columnar data.

Version 4.1 adds database abstraction via the PEAR DB class and in-class filtering methods. Please review the README. Including Multiple table SQL statements and identical field names has required some important modifications. The following features are included:

Auto-complete text typed in a form input

This package can be used to auto-complete text typed in a form input without page reloading.

It generates the HTML for a form with a text input and Javascript to perform an AJAX request to retrieve possible words that complete the text that the user has typed so far.

The auto-completion words are retrieved from a configurable text file. The words may also be read from an array session variable to make it faster.

The completion words are displayed in menu below the text input.

The form with text field width, the colors of the words in the menu and the word file delimiter are also configurable.

Validate and filter text values based on rules

This class can be used to validate and filter input values based on several types of rules.

It can treat a text value by performing one or more several types of validation. Each validation returns the filtered value or false if the input is not valid.

Currently the class can perform the validations for: integer values, floating point values, strip HTML tags, regular expression matching, e-mail address, HTML without potential cross site scripting (XSS) exploits, and escaped text values for SQL queries to avoid SQL injections.
