This is a simple class that can be used to identify Arabic text in multi-language documents.

It analyzes a text that uses Unicode and locates the segments that use characters that belong the Arabic character set.

The class returns an array with the positions of the Arabic text segments.

Retrieve internationalized texts from data files

The class is intended for the organization of multilanguage support in web application.
Provides all basic necessary functionality for storage and processing of the language data,
and some additional opportunities:

-As sources of the language data you can use of files and-or arrays.
-In case of use of files - processing of their any amount ,
and also caching results of processing is supported.
-Probably dynamic (i.e. after data processing)
addition of the new language data from arrays.
-Probably dynamic change of already processed data.
-In the language data any HTML-marking is allowable.
-Probably dynamic formatting of the language data with
use sprintf() modifiers.

A class to implement multi-threaded applications

Wrapper around the pcntl_fork() stuff, with a API set like Java language.
Practical usage is done by extending this class, and re-defining the run() method.
This way PHP developers can enclose logic into a class that extends PHP_Fork, then execute the start() method that forks a child process.
Communications with the forked process is ensured by using a Shared Memory Segment; by using a user-defined signal and this shared memory developers can access to child process methods that returns a serializable variable.

The shared variable space can be accessed with the tho methods:
o void setVariable($name, $value)
o mixed getVariable($name)

$name must be a valid PHP variable name;
$value must be a variable or a serializable object.
Resources (db connections, streams, etc.) cannot be serialized and so they're not correctly handled.

Only runs on *NIX systems, because Windows lacks of the needed pcntl ext.

Translate application texts using Google Translate

This class can be used to translate application texts using Google Translate.

It can take a script with an array of texts in English and sends requests to the Google Translate Web site to translate each of the texts to another idiom.

The class generates a new script for the target language with an array with the texts translated to that language.
