Generate and validate CAPTCHA verification images

This package can be used to generate and validate CAPTCHA validation images.

It can create an image in the PNG format displaying a random text. The text is stored in a session variable for later verification.

The class can also generate HTML to display the verification image and the inputs of a form on which the user must type the text in the image.

The class can verify whether the submitted form input text matches the text in the image.

All actions are recorded in a log stored as a class variable.

It can parse the .ico file header and retrieve the information about how many icons there are in the file, their size, color depth and palette

It can extract each icon image into a new image that can be saved in the PNG format. The extracted image can use a configurable background color.

It can open an picture file in the GIF, PNG, JPEG and BMP formats, and write a given text string on the picture.

The colors, opacity, border effect, font size and position of the text are configurable parameters.

The resulting image with the text on it may be stored on a file or served as the current script output in the same set of possible formats as the input picture.

This class can be used to crop images by removing edges with same color.

It can load a GIF, JPEG or PNG image and scans it to detect edges color, so it crops the image to remove the edge areas that have the same color around it.

The cropped image is outputted in the same format as the original image.
