Generate and validate CAPTCHA verification images

This package can be used to generate and validate CAPTCHA validation images.

It can create an image in the PNG format displaying a random text. The text is stored in a session variable for later verification.

The class can also generate HTML to display the verification image and the inputs of a form on which the user must type the text in the image.

The class can verify whether the submitted form input text matches the text in the image.

All actions are recorded in a log stored as a class variable.

This class generates an image with random text to verify that a form was submitted by a real human being.

It adds some visual elements that are meant to confuse OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, thus making it very difficult for robot scripts to determine the actual text that is displayed in the generated image.

This class generates and display images with random text characters to perform a CAPTCHA test and verify whether the current site user is a real human or a robot script.

The class also displays a form with a text input to let the user enter the displayed characters to be verified.

The verification text length, size and color, as well as the background of the image that is generated, are all configurable parameters.

The class renders the text in given position of an image of a given width and height using a font of a given size.

It can take the text foreground and background color parameters by value or by name.

The rendered text image can be served in the GIF, JPEG or PNG formats.

Generate CAPTCHA verification images for forms

This class can be used to perform CAPTCHA tests to verify whether a site user is a real human or a robot script.

It generates images with random secret texts. The secret texts are stored on the server side using session variables.

The images are drawn with the GD library and outputted in the JPEG format.

The class also provides a verification function to determine whether the text in the image matches the text eventually entered by an user in a verification form.
