This package can be used to create birthday discount coupons for store users.

Once installed as an add-on to Magento installation, it provides a user interface to create a coupon for a person that it may be its birthday.

Number 5		 Birthdays are a special dates in the lives of many people. Therefore, many e-commerce sites use that date as a reminder for people to get birthday gifts that are products being sold on the site.

To encourage more sales, some e-commerce sites provide discount coupons for people that were born on the current day.

This package can generate discount coupons for users of a e-commerce site running Magento which their birth day is on the current day.

Birthday Coupons On Magento

Adds birthday condition to promotions in Magento store.

Installation

Just put the app/ directory inside root folder of your store (merge it). Then refresh the cache for system and module files in Configuration > Cache.

How it Works

The main goal is to allow the store owner to create promotions with discounts for birthdays. After the installation a new option will be prompted in Promotions > Shopping Cart Price Rules > Add New Rule > [Tab Conditions] Add New Condition. This new option allows setting a coupon to birthday person, or even a not birthday person (maybe useless).

Adiciona condição de aniversariante nas promoções em uma loja Magento.

Instalação

Basta colocar a pasta app/ dentro do diretório raíz da loja (juntar arquivos). Depois é necessário atualizar o cache de sistema e módulos em Configuração > Cache.

Como Funciona

A ideia principal é permitir que o dono da loja possa criar promoções com desconto para aniversariantes. Depois da instalação uma nova opção será apresentada em Promoções > Regras de Promoção > Criar Regra > [Aba Condições] Adicionar Nova Condição. Esta nova opção permitirá configurar o cupom para o aniversariante, ou inclusive para quem não é aniversariante na data (não muito útil).
